INTRODUCTION
At the heart of Chennai, IIT Madras stands as a starlight of excellence in engineering and technology, shaped by its powerful academic programs ranging from undergraduate to research and international master degree programs. The IIT Madras entrepreneurship cell organises the E-Summit every year. This year it happened between March 7 and March 10. E-Summit’24 is designed to present a multitude of opportunities to its student participants. Starting from competitive events to workshops to start-up expos, the E-Summit ensures that the participants are exposed to a rich array of educational experiences.
This time the four-day E-Summit 2024 entrepreneurial festival took place entirely offline at the IITM campus. It was not mandatory for you to have a start-up idea to participate in the summit. IITM had a lot of activities planned for those who are planning to venture into the world of entrepreneurship. E-Summit isn’t just for the students of IITM. IITM has encouraged participation from a wider range of student communities and made sure that a diverse group can benefit from the exciting opportunities at E-Summit 24. Akkshitha.S and Dhakshin.D, two first-year students from CSE 1, participated in this E-Summit’24 and acquired practical knowledge of navigating start-up and corporate ecosystems.

To guarantee a seamless registration process it’s crucial to thoroughly read the instructions. IITM will send you a confirmation email once you complete your registration and payment. All the necessary information about the seminar you have signed up for such as the date, time, and location, will be included in this email. The Impact:
The participation of CSE 1 students in E-Summit’24 opens up plenty of opportunities for them to dive into the entrepreneurial world. Here’s how they took full advantage of the event:

Made use of the site to network with business owners and Industry experts in hopes of finding inspiration for new initiatives.
