Ali Abdaal is one of my favorite YouTubers who talks more about productivity and books. His first book is “Feel Good Productivity” which is packed with a lot of important things. To be frank I can’t really summarise all the important things in this post.

Before starting this book I thought this book would be something that is gonna talk about staying strong in our habits and following strict discipline but I was totally wrong.

The book offers a fresh perspective on productivity, featuring practical examples supported by case studies and survey reports. This book’s main focus is on how feeling good increases our output i.e., productivity.

Does achieving success result in feeling good? or

       Feeling good leads to success?

This book explains to us how feeling good plays a major role in productivity. Not only this, he also helped me to understand how we are mostly short-sighted and not focusing on our true long-term goals.

A man’s true requirement is known when he is near death

Often, we focus on material needs such as money and luxury, but we overlook our true need: love. Surveys and records from people nearing the end of their lives—whether due to age or other reasons—reveal this truth. They were asked a question ” What are their regrets?” No one answered that they regret working less or earning less, their main regret was that they have spent less time with their loved ones. They regret spending less time with their family and friends. While job, salary, and money are important, we should not focus solely on them and neglect other crucial aspects of life.

Think and Act before it’s too Late!

“Feel Good Productivity” is more than just a guide to getting things done; it’s a blueprint for achieving your goals in a way that feels rewarding and sustainable. If you’re looking to enhance your productivity while ensuring you don’t burn out, this book is definitely worth a read!
