A woman deserves to be celebrated every day, yet there happens to be an official Women’s Day, which falls on March 8. While this day highlights the achievements, victories, and triumphs that women from various fields hold, It would be better if we shift our perspective and look upon the ensurement of the safety and equality of women.

While we celebrate women who made history and unbreakable records, what about those who gave up on their dreams and sacrificed themselves for their families? It will be unfair if we forget to celebrate those beautiful women. A doting housewife and a devoted homemaker still deserves equal respect and equality as much as any corporate professional receives from the society.

There are still people who fight over the usage of the term ‘housewife’. It is understandable that this term clinges more to the fact that a woman’s identity is tied to the household duties and responsibilities, but there isn’t any shame in embracing the biggest of all responsibilities that a person can possess – to take care of a home which takes versatile talents to ace.

A woman is much more than how the world sees her. She is far more than a beautiful and pretty face – she is fierce, bold, and strong. Michelle Obama was right when she said “There is no limit to what we, as women, can accomplish”. Let us fly together for infinity is our limit.
