Q: Who has been your biggest inspiration or role model in life?
A: My school biology teacher, Karthihayani Ma’am, has been my greatest inspiration. She is currently serving as the Principal of Bharathi Vidhya Bhavan School. The way she conducted her classes with such dedication deeply inspired me and left a lasting impact on my approach to both teaching and life.
Q: What are some key moments or achievements in your career that you are most proud of?
A: One of the proudest milestones in my career was pursuing my postgraduate studies. I completed both my M.E. and Ph.D. after marriage, which was a significant personal achievement. I am very much happy to share that I’ve successfully completed my Ph.D degree within three years in part time mode balancing both my career and personal life.
Q: What advice would you give to young women aspiring to take up leadership roles?
A: My advice would be to actively participate in college activities and events. These experiences help build leadership skills, which in turn shape your career direction and provide stability. Take every opportunity as a stepping stone towards personal and professional growth.
Q: What is your personal mantra or philosophy that you live by?
A: My mantra is simple — hard work. Whatever we choose to do, it must be carried out with dedication and sincere effort. Every experience holds a lesson, and we must remain open to learning from all of them.
