As a student how often do you set goals that revolve around personal growth? Is it necessary to prioritize your personal development? Or is it too late to think about personality enhancement?
I would say,
BETTER LATE THAN NEVER!!!!
The word ‘personality’ is a broad and important term. It comprises of the characteristic traits and behavioural patterns of an individual which gives them their identity, and it is very important to constantly work towards its development. Of course, it is not an overnight job. It can take days, months, or even a year to work on it. But the matter is one should consistently try it.
Now, how to do it?? Here are a few tips:
First, Try to list out your strengths and weaknesses, and identify the reason behind them. Seek and welcome feedback on areas that might need improvement. Don’t be afraid to stretch yourself, try new things, and take more risks.
Nowadays, most of the youngsters feel confident and comfortable only around a particular group. It might either be their close friends or family and definitely. I think this has to be changed. One should daringly step out of their comfort zone. Let out the real ‘you’.
Secondly, Improve your communication. Communication is all about knowing, what to speak, when to speak, and how to speak. To communicate effectively you should first be a good listener. Listen before speaking, Replace “I” with ‘you’. Everybody likes talking about them: ‘I like this… I do it. It’s important to give space to others and to involve them while you are communicating. If you listen you will be listened to too. So always place ‘You’ before ‘I’.
Thirdly, Be confident about yourself and your choices. Whatever you do, there will always be someone who just prefers the exact opposite of what you do. So there is no use in being too conscious. You do what you do!
Wear dresses that you feel comfortable in. Learn different languages and try to accomplish new skills. Be kind enough, You shouldn’t let your emotions destroy others. You don’t feel good on a particular day? Take your time. Do the things you love. Prioritize your time. Make a daily schedule and work on it regularly.
Finally, wake up early and do exercise. This will make you feel good and fresh throughout the day. Don’t waste your time on things that aren’t worth it.
In the end, it’s only you. we live only once and make it the best one!
