South Korea has become a popular country among youngsters today owing to the popularity of K- drama and K- pop. This article aims to introduce you to this wonderful Asian Country. South Korea shares its border with one of the most heavily militarized zones in the world, the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ). South Korea faces ongoing tensions with North Korea. Its location also serves as a gateway to the rest of Asia, facilitating trade and cultural exchange across the region.
The Joseon Dynasty (1392-1910) is considered a golden age of Korean culture. Despite all the war, South Korea underwent a remarkable economic transformation in the latter half of the 20th century, known as the “Miracle on the Han River.”
The traditional Korean attire, hanbok, is a symbol of the nation’s cultural heritage. K-pop music, Korean dramas, and films have an international and global fan base.
