- The Annual College Day sports events were conducted for students between 06.03.2024
and 12.03.2024. With students divided into eight houses including Mercury, Venus,
Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto, the atmosphere was charged with
competitive spirit and camaraderie. Boys and girls alike showcased their athleticism and
skill in a variety of events. Boys competed fiercely in Volleyball, Basketball, Kabbadi,
Chess, Table Tennis, and Badminton (Doubles), while the girls demonstrated their
prowess in Basketball, Throwball, Chess, Table Tennis, Badminton (Doubles), and Kho-
Kho. Our first students actively participated in the events and bagged many trophies. The
details of the winners and runners are as follows:
2. Hemapriya – I ECE, Abinaya saraswathi – I AGRI, Sivani – I Mech, and Rufinas Merlin,
I EEE secured Third place (Bronze Medal) in 33 rd All India inter institutional basketball
tournament held at Hindustan institute of Technology and Science from 9 th to 11 th of
March 2024. Also, Sivani from the Department of Mechanical Engineering received the
most ‘Valuable Player’ Award.
3. S.Singuru Jyothsana participated in the Inter- Collegiate Ball Badminton Tournament
held at DDGDV college ground on 13 th and 14 th February conducted by
M.O.P.VAISHNAV COLLEGE FOR WOMEN.
