Chennai’s Harmony

IT 1, I Year
To be honest, I never took my pen with this amount of eagerness and excitement before to write something. In India and especially in Tamil Nadu, there is a fever that affects everyone irrespective of age during the season of summer every year. It can take a minimum of two months for the disease to be cured.
Yes, it’s ‘the yellow fever’ caused by ‘the yellove virus.’ I hope everyone got my thread. Since childhood, I never slept peacefully if our super kings lost. When it comes to Chennai Super Kings everything becomes crazy. I’ll be excited for the whole day if it’s our match day. I don’t know, why or how or when I started loving CSK this much. Most of us would have started following the CSK franchise from at least 2012. Even though it was banned for two years from 2016 to 2017, our favourite side never changed. This is what I would call a true love.
As a fan of Chennai Super Kings, we all feel so much happiness and pride because we have won the IPL title 5 times – a tremendous feat. Our achievements have shocked and astonished many. Some might be feeling a tad bit jealous too. But there is more to it. It’s not merely our achievements that kindle jealousy in others, the real reason is the man behind this achievement.
In the era of wars,
The ruler will
Either win
Or lose
With his force.
But never
Changes sides.
We have a ruler. We call him a ruler because the word leader falls short in front of him and his dedication to the team. Leadership is seasonal, periodical, and something temporary.
But unlike leaders, rulers are hard to replace. He carries the might and strength of the entire kingdom. He has been there for us from the very start. He is the ruler of our hearts and one of the greatest captains that the world of cricket has ever seen. What he has created is not merely a journey but history, a history to be cherished forever.
CSK has participated in 14 seasons and He’s been our captain for all 14 years. The very thought of it leaves me with goosebumps. There is no one like him in the cricket world and no one can ever achieve what he has achieved. This great man is named ‘Mahendra Singh Dhoni who is fondly addressed as ‘Thala’ by his fans, a symbol of their overwhelming love. There were a lot of talks about his retirement in the last two years. But this yellove is what keeps him going. It is a driving force for both us fans and MS Dhoni. This yellove brings him back every year. I would proudly declare Yellove as the strongest love that the history of cricket has ever seen.
Love is crazy
Especially yellove.
Again IPL is back this year with our CSK. Let’s hope for more success this year. But more than success, this year’s season should be a happy and a memorable one for both us and our MSD . Because we never know when he’ll decide to quit. Let’s make this season more memorable by showing overwhelming love to our team and celebrate alike both their victory and fall.
With yellove, Abishek.
